Outer cartons matter

The retail package is not always the shipping package. Export cartons need suitable size, board strength and internal protection so goods do not crush or move during transport.

Pallets and crates

Pallets reduce direct carton handling and can protect large shipments. Wooden crates may be useful for tall or fragile loads, but they increase volume and cost.

Volumetric weight

Freight cost may be based on volume rather than actual weight. Rigid boxes, assembled displays and oversized cartons can increase shipping cost even when the products are light.

Practical recommendation

Confirm carton size, carton count, gross weight, volume, pallet plan and packing photos before dispatch. A small adjustment before shipment can reduce damage risk.
